Week 7 of my internship with @analystlabafric
For the HealthConnect Clinic project, I:
• Revalidated key KPIs and findings
• Tested variables together
• Refined the Power BI dashboard
• Validated interactive features
• Documented Test → Finding → Action → Retest → Validated Improvement
• Collaborated with the Data Science track
The biggest lesson?
Good analytics isn’t just about finding patterns.
Week 6 of my internship with @analystlabafric
This week, I went deeper into my Week 5 findings by analysing multiple variables together to better understand missed appointments.
I also validated key findings, identified groups that may need targeted interventions, and shared relevant insights with the Data Science track to support modelling decisions.
Week 5 of my internship with @analystlabafric
After establishing the analytical foundation in Week 4, Week 5 focused on taking the analysis further and turning the findings into a stakeholder-friendly business intelligence solution.
🔹 Reminder coverage was 72.68%, with appointments receiving reminders showing an observed no-show rate of 47.36%, compared with 51.39% for appointments without reminders.
🔹 Follow-up appointments recorded the highest observed no-show rate at 51.23%.
Week 4 of my internship with @analystlabafric
This week, I worked on the HealthConnect Clinic Experience Lab dataset.
I used Python and Jupyter Notebook to begin investigating the clinic’s appointment data and the factors associated with missed appointments.
• Define relevant business questions to guide the next stage of analysis • Identify potential KPIs that can be used to measure appointment attendance and no-shows
This week was mainly about establishing a solid analytical foundation for the HealthConnect project.
Through Power BI, DAX, KPI cards, interactive visuals, and slicers, I transformed these findings into an interactive dashboard designed to make business performance easier to understand.
