Personally, I never bet on the first game

I prefer to watch first, feel out the vibe, and see how the teams are looking

But for those who want to jump in right now, here are the current probabilities on Polymarket:

> New York (71%) - Philadelphia (30%)

> San Antonio (83%) - Minnesota (18%)

Why such a huge gap in these matchups?

I actually see some market inefficiency here!

San Antonio had almost two weeks of rest, and according to stats, teams that rest that long lose the first game about 70% of the time

Still, they have home court advantage, so an interesting play could be betting on the Timberwolves to win the first quarter

Similar story in the Knicks - Sixers series

The difference here is that Philadelphia is on a crazy hot streak after coming back from 1-3 against Boston

The second round of the NBA playoffs is set!

For the first time since 2016, two teams managed to come back from a 1-3 deficit in a series and both did it in the first round:

> Philadelphia 76ers became the first team in NBA history to overcome a 1-3 deficit as the 7th seed

Detroit Pistons pulled off the same comeback against the Orlando Magic

> In Game 6, the Pistons erased a 24-point deficit on the road that’s a record for a team facing elimination

Knicks absolutely demolished the Hawks in Game 6 and set several records:

> +47 points at halftime: They were leading 83-36 after the first half.

That’s the largest halftime lead in NBA playoff history (previous record was +41)

> Final score was 140-89 (+51) the biggest playoff win in Knicks franchise history

> Cavs won all their home games and lost all their away games

> Total domination from Oklahoma they swept Phoenix 4-0 with the best point differential in the league
