@suchnerve @6gauntlets I didn't even know non-central heat pumps were a thing because the only discussion of them you see here are whole home heating systems, but now searching for window heat pumps I seem to get AC units that mention in the description that they have a heat pump for £300 at least

@suchnerve @6gauntlets I'm looking it up and in the UK an air to air heat pump seems to cost a min of £4k with no gov grant support, that's genuinely just not affordable for most people to drop even if we had better awareness of it
