Today, my mother suddenly fainted, so I called 108 ambulance services at 9:41 AM to take her to the hospital.

I waited for almost an hour, but the ambulance never arrived. Instead, I kept receiving calls from 108 asking me to confirm the details again and again, while telling me that no ambulance was available.

Eventually, I had no choice but to take my mother to the hospital on a bike.

This is the reality of healthcare services in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

If this is the situation in the state capital, one can only imagine what people in other parts of the state are going through.
