tail beginning to uncurl from around the other , a quiet , happy hum coming from the dragon .

Neither of them had moved during her slumber so Violet knew without asking that nothing of note had happened.

She sat up and stretched her dainty limbs out.

a slight stiffening of her posture , face flushing as well before relaxing.

Violet snoozed the time away wrapped up in Xiao’s massive tail. She even drooled a little bit on Xiao’s shoulder.

She awoke a while later despite her pet’s warmth calling her back to sleep. She lazily rubbed Xiao’s scaly tail to inform the dragon that her master had awoken.

completely still and in an already safe place . doesn't mean she was gonna put any less effort into it , though !

tail gently wrapping around the priestess's midriff , reaching all the way around back to xiao guang . keeping violet safe was always her number one priority , so really this just made it easier given they were

“In that case, let me just rest for a bit.”

She felt a rare calling for actual rest, not meditation. She settled in against the dragon’s warmth, resting her darken crowned head upon the other’s shoulder, letting her cross shaped eyes close.

pushing some of her weight against the other , idly humming . she wasn't really the best to ask about what to do since she'd be happy just sitting around with violet . . .

But her tone left a subtle hint of boredom. She would need to find something interesting to devote her attention to lest she wither away.

xiao was just happy whenever her master was around , really . not hard to get a smile on the dragon's face in the slightest .

Adorable. Violet simply couldn’t get enough of her pet.

She’d genetically lower her hand and lean over against Xiao, grateful for the company.

“We don’t particularly require sleep but sometimes it is nice to drift off. I’m glad it was good.”

Even so they were always connected through Violet’s mind and eyes.

It was still much better to have Xiao around in physical form. Moving her hand from Xiao’s head to her chin and jaw.
