Singer and actor Doh Kyungsoo, who is about to part ways with his current agency, is reportedly holding on to his 50% stake in the agency. 

According to a report by Ilgan Sports on the 4th, Doh Kyungsoo has informed the company that he will no longer be renewing his contract with Company Soosoo, which is set to expire on December 7th, and is reportedly refusing to sell his stake. It has been confirmed that Doh Kyungsoo owns a total of 50% of Company Soosoo. 

Company Soosoo was established in July 2023 with a capital of 10 million won by Doh Kyungsoo's manager, who has been with him for over 10 years since his SM Entertainment days. Doh Kyungsoo moved to Company Soosoo in November of that year when his contract with SM Entertainment expired, and in the process, he was granted a 50% stake and was listed as a registered director of the company.

Since then, he has been active as the company's operator and sole artist. He has been actively releasing albums, going on fan tours, and appearing in various productions, but he has reportedly suddenly announced his intention to leave the company. However, he is reportedly maintaining his position that he will retain his 50% stake. 

As Company Soosoo was created specifically for Doh Kyungsoo, the remaining employees must find ways to survive his absence, such as expanding the business. However, as Doh Kyungsoo, who holds the final decision making authority, is determined to retain his 50% stake, nothing will be easy without his approval.

Company Soosoo's current corporate value is estimated at approximately 15-20 billion won. This achievement was achieved in just two years, starting with a capital of 10 million won. Doh Kyung-soo has played a significant role in the company's rapid growth. However, as Doh Kyungsoo is not alone in his achievement, attention is focused on how his separation from his agency will ultimately be resolved.
