@Brianna17970043 I found this article really interesting. In my opinion, legalizing marijuana would be beneficial. I liked the fact that they pointed out that the police forces time could be spent elsewhere instead of worrying about illegal marijuana. #sjcdbms19
@roy_shannon This is crazy! I can only imagine how awful it must have been for him to have nobody believing him, and even labeling him as a closet drinker. #sjcdbms19
This article discusses the idea that the legalization of marijuana could possibly reduce deaths caused by THC cartridges. I found this to be an interesting point. I’m curious if people agree or disagree? #sjcdbms19 https://t.co/pncAOhPapD
@forpsychclass I agree, while this is a good idea, I feel like the children watching Sesame Street are a little too young to understand this concept. I think this should be directed at a slightly older age group #sjcdbms19
@roy_shannon This is concerning, particularly the part that says “drug enforcement agents have higher priorities.” I think that since people are dying from these laced carts, this should be a very high priority. Especially now amid all of the lung illnesses. #sjcdbms19
@onlyformyclass I agree. It’s really strange that we are just now hearing about vaping related illnesses. It’s possible that the explanation could be a newer product, such as THC carts, or maybe some shipments of e-liquids were made incorrectly. #sjcdbms19
A man in Wisconsin was recently arrested for making his own THC carts, for two years. It’s unknown if this operation has been linked to the vaping deaths, but I think it’s more of a possibility than legal ones. #sjcdbms19 https://t.co/PlewiQxYJu
@mariahknight_4 In regards to the fourth myth, there is certainly more stigma around the use of illicit drugs, such as heroin, than licit drugs. However I believe it is important that this changes. We have to understand that any addiction deserves the same understanding and help. #sjcdbms19
An interesting article with some points that relate back to who is at fault for the opioid epidemic. It introduces the idea that if the government would legalize medicinal marijuana, maybe that could be prescribed in place of opioids. #sjcdbms19 https://t.co/XWYh35d5t1
