@LynnOono thank you! spent some time settling into Japan, but now that I'm adjusting to regular life I'll be appearing in tournaments here more often! despite BO1, I know I can get a good finish eventually! :)
I went to my first CL in Fukuoka - played the same day 1 60 as Rahul but ended at 4-3. Sad about the performance but everyone was so nice and I'm excited for the next one!
はじめてCLで出たけど4-3で負けました。
みんな優しくて次のCL楽しみにしています!
Finished 117th out of 7000 players at CL Fukuoka with a record of 12-3. I went 6-2 in Day 1 with Garchomp and 6-1 in Day 2 with Jellicent Dusknoir! Thank you all for the support I’ll have the YouTube report video up later, some tips for the new format and will start working on MetaFy guides this week 🫡 thank you to @torecacamp and @DragonShield_ for the support!
Ended Sacramento at 3-1-4 with LZ Pika - played well but just hit too many decks that had Klefki, Flutter Mane or (non-Drago) Kyurem and did the best I could given that.
Two students and many of my friends out placed me though and are moving on to Day2 so cheering them on :)
@Pooka311 I'm a foodie so definitely would pick out a restaurant in advance depending on what I'm craving!
sushi (omakase or conveyor belt sushi), onigiri
udon/tsukemen, ramen, yakiniku, yakitori, tempura, gyukatsu, tonkatsu, katsudon, omurice, curry, okonomiyaki, unagi - so many options

Pokémon is no interaction but the draw power/tutor in the game scratches an itch and makes me think in a way that no other game has
@thefleeee@LSXYZ9 thanks for saving my cat the other day and coaching all 5 of my siblings to each win the Pokémon TCG World Championships, appreciate it homie
@RaichuAvenger thank you!

Finished 2nd place at Dortmund Regionals with The Broken Lugia list once again. This was such a surreal experience and I didn’t expect this at all, the support has been insane and I’m so grateful to have made my first finals.
Just love you all, I’ll keep trying till I get one✌️

@jakekgearhart@azulgg@ZanderBennett You can extend that analogy to say that a person who is always playing against those in top 8 contention than someone who almost never was had to fight harder for their wins
@jakekgearhart@azulgg@ZanderBennett I don't feel strongly about either answer but to play devil's advocate:
Someone who went 5-2-1 and then lost win and in to be 5-3-1 most likely had tougher opponents than someone who started 0-2-2 and then won out to be 5-2-2.
i did awful at Worlds (1-2-1, same 60) but I'm so glad that our hard work paid off
despite lackluster finishes this year, my biggest strength has always been deck building and theory and I'm honored to have friends that trust in my ideas and take them across the finish line :)
9th place (Top 8*) at the 2024 Pokémon World Championships. Starting 1-2 and riding the wave to 10-2 and winning on stream followed by a heartbreaking loss in asymmetric cut was an insane roller coaster of emotions.
I decided that I would rock Lugia after Isaiah and Victor cooked up the most insane list possible. Credit goes all to them.
After a season of ups and downs, I’m incredible humbled and grateful to have finished the way I did after everything that happened this season.
Confidence isn’t my strong suit and I often think I don’t belong amongst the best, but the support you’ve all shown me has been overwhelming and I’ve been so happy to receive it all.
Thank you for believing in me, thank you for the chance at Top 8. I’ll try again next year but until then.
Boogie Woogie baby 👏
Have two spectator passes and a bunch of past world goodies for sale which I will be bringing with me to Hawaii!
Taking best offer, will price match. Let me know if you're interested!!

My 2010 list is already kind of close to what I think the ideal build of that would be! You can cut Nidoqueen and Unown G to fit 1 Shuppet (1 is probably enough) and maybe Expert Belt and a Spiritomb/Unown Q/Cursegar package.
@sawyerhatemail For the rest of this game, your Pokémon’s attacks do 30 more damage to your opponent’s Active Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance). When your opponent’s Active Pokémon is Knocked Out by damage from those attacks, take 1 more Prize card. :)
