One mystery I’ve never understood is how Mintzy surrounds himself with the kindest, most generous people on the planet.

Last month we stopped into @bluedeltajeans in Oxford for Mintzy to get a pair of custom, 1 of 1 made pants. He pitched it to me as awesome content…kinda just seemed like Mintzy was getting free pants?

Anyways, while Mintzy was getting sized up, I hit it off with Brian, who happened to be a former basketball coach like myself.

Brian’s like….lets get you a pair of pants too Tate.

I said nah man I’m good. I’m literally just following Mintzy around, he’s the King of the South you want. Plus I wear the same style of sweatpants every day.

He insisted over and over, until I said fine, but if we’re gonna do this, I’m gonna get something I’d never in a million years get for myself. Sort of like a treat. Something I can wear for a special occasion / date night. So we picked out these all white pants and they sized me up.

Pretty cool to get a really expensive pair of jeans on the house, no doubt about it. But then today I come home and they’ve not only been delivered, but out of the clouds, Brian also sent me his favorite book about basketball for me to read (as well as a pair of all-white Jordans for the golf course?!?!)

Idk, I’m just pretty blown away by not just the guys generosity but his thoughtfulness? Why is he sending me a book on basketball coaching? Looking forward to reading it and getting back on the sidelines one day.

Anyways, thanks Brian and @bluedeltajeans. Can’t wait to rock these fresh white pants out on the town. #Mintzy
