CPSO drops disciplinary proceedings against Ontario physician for opposing harmful Covid policies:

Disciplinary proceedings against Dr. Kulvinder Kaur Gill (@dockaurG), scheduled for a 15-day fully-contested hearing in early 2024, have been withdrawn by her regulator, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).

Dr. Gill is a specialist physician practicing in the Greater Toronto Area. Over the course of the pandemic, she developed a large following on X, where she shared scientific studies and opinions about various government Covid policies since the start of the pandemic, including her concerns about the harms caused by lockdowns and mandates.

Facebook is filling up with fake archaeology articles about discoveries that never happened, with photos of things that do not exist. These are posted en masse by accounts to gain followers so the accounts can later be sold for $.

And boomers are eating it up like your chubby uncle at Christmas dinner. Complete with gravy-stained shirt and greasy fingers, there are angry 70yos defending fake archaeology to young people who are trying to point out they are being duped.

Not that I care too much about these people and what they believe, but you can see how this will start to leak into the collective knowledge of our culture and make us dumber than we already are.
