@Patticus How to determine if you should invest more time/effort/resources into someone or not. I think intuitively a lot of people want to see the potential in everyone, but its not always going to give you an ROI.

I think sometimes just rubber ducking the situation helps.

My only regret is that I don't have a more complex app to build with on this stack right now. Probably not going to convince the team that we should do a rewrite of the ProfitWell app, as much as I'd love that. 😬

Combining the frontend and backend parts of an app is great. My old site was Jekyll for fast static pages. This site is now just as fast (faster?) with all the power of a separate Express API and so far none of the tradeoffs.
