THIS IS A CALL TO ACTION.

Alireza Sepahi was supposed to be hanged among the other two protesters, who were since executed.

While being transported to his execution, Alireza became extremely distressed and suffered a heart attack.

He was taken to the hospital and treated. You might ask why they didn’t just let him die. The cruelty is unfathomable. The point is not for him to die. The point is for people to see him being killed by medieval style torture to prevent future uprisings.

Once recovered, his execution will resume.

The only way I can see this being prevented is if @realDonaldTrump demands that the regime overturn his death sentence.

بیش از ۴۰ هزار جاویدنام دی‌ماه، با آگاهی از خطرهای پیش رو، قدم در این مسیر گذاشتند. آنان می‌دانستند شاید دیگر هرگز به خانه بازنگردند، اما در لحظه‌ای که ایران به آنان نیاز داشت، ایستادند. آنان بر خلاف مزدوران ضحاک، برای وعده‌های ناچیز و منافع شخصی به میدان نیامده بودند. آنها، شکوهمند، برای بازپس‌گیری ایران و هویت ملی‌مان برخاستند. آنان که از جنس زندگی، باور و نور بودند، در برابر تاریکی ایستادند تا نام ایران زنده بماند؛ و نام‌شان برای همیشه در تاریخ سرزمین ما ماندگار شد. آنان نشان دادند که عشق به میهن، از ترس مرگ نیرومندتر است.

امروز شش ماه از آن روزها گذشته است، اما برای خانواده‌های شریف جاویدنامان، زمان همچنان در همان شب‌های دشوار متوقف مانده است؛ خانواده‌هایی که عزیز و گاه تنها نان‌آور خود را از دست داده‌اند؛ پدران و مادرانی که هر صبح با جای خالی فرزندشان چشم می‌گشایند؛ همسران، خواهران و برادرانی که در کنار رنج سوگ، فشار تهدید و سرکوب را نیز تحمل می‌کنند.

این خانواده‌ها تنها صاحبان یک داغ نیستند؛ آنها نگهبان و امانت‌دار یاد و فداکاری دلیرترین فرزندان ایران هستند. مسئولیت همه ماست که اجازه ندهیم این بار سنگین را به تنهایی بر دوش بکشند. وظیفه ملی و میهنی ماست که بیش از پیش پشتیبان‌شان باشیم؛ به دیدارشان برویم، صدای آنان را بازتاب دهیم، یاد عزیزانشان را زنده نگه داریم و در حد توان خود، نگذاریم فشارهای روحی، تهدیدها و دشواری‌های مالی، آنان را به سکوت و فراموشی وادار کند.

تاریخ بارها نشان داده است که هیچ قدرتی نمی‌تواند اراده ملتی متحد را که برای رهایی و ساختن آینده‌ای بهتر برخاسته است، برای همیشه خاموش کند. راهی که با فداکاری فرزندان جاویدنام ایران روشن شده است، ادامه خواهد یافت؛ تا روزی که ایران به آزادی، دولت ملی و آینده‌ای شایسته ملت بزرگ ما دست یابد.

Rashid Mazaheri is the REAL Iranian goalkeeper. Not the one chasing fame and money, but the one who stood with his people.

The regime arrested him for speaking out against the massacre of January 8-9. Because in their eyes, silence is the only acceptable price for wearing the national jersey.

We Iranians have a sacred word: Pehlivan (Pahlevan). It means hero, champion, noble warrior, patriot. For thousands of years, it belonged first to our wrestlers — the heart of Persian sport — but today it belongs to any athlete who carries the soul of Iran.

Before his arrest, Rashid Mazaheri delivered a message that will echo forever:
“Medals and performance do not make an athlete a Pehlivan. Standing with the people does.”
That is the standard. That is the measure.

Alireza Beiranvand knows this truth better than anyone. He has seen it. He understands it. Yet he chooses silence. Worse — he openly swears “by the blood of Khamenei” that he will not let the opponent score. He said it during the Iran vs New Zealand match. The joke writes itself.

While one goalkeeper risks everything for the blood of our youth soaked in the streets, the other endorses the very regime that spills it — all for a starting spot and regime favor.

This is not about goalkeeping. This is about sportswashing. This is about the Islamic Republic and the IRGC trying to use our national team to launder their crimes while our athletes are beaten and imprisoned for saying “enough”.

But the wall of fear has crumbled.

As his translated instagram post proudly says: The heirs of Cyrus, Darius, and Kaveh the Blacksmith are rising. Our roots are older than their whips and gallows. Our dignity is deeper than their tyranny.

Rashid Mazaheri is a Pehlivan.
Beiranvand is not.

We have not forgotten the path of a free and modern Iran.
We will no longer bow our heads.

It's so painful to wish your own national team to lose. It's difficult to explain, but it didn't happen over night. Slowly but surely we realized our team doesn't represent us, and works as tool of the regime that has tormented us for 47 years.

Sport doesn't bring Iranians together anymore. It's a stark reminder of Islamic Republic's crimes and why we hate it.

The salt on the wound is FIFA's full cooperation with Islamic Republic as there was almost no footage of Iranian fans, because they were showing lion and sun flags and chanting anti Islamic Republic slogans. Before the offside was called, only a single Iranian fan was shown and it was a zoom to her face.

I doubt anywhere in the stadium could provide a "politically correct" camera shot from the attending Iranians, as the majority carried lion and sun flags and other anti-regime flags and banners.

These are the majority and real Iranians, whether the world likes it or not. The Lion and Sun will rise again.

برای من یکی از تاریک‌ترین نقاط کارنامه قالیباف، واکنشش به پرونده محمد بیجه در سال ۱۳۸۳ بود. بهش فکر می‌کنم قلبم به درد میاد. بین ۱۷ تا ۲۷ کودک به شکل وحشیانه‌ای مورد تجاوز قرار گرفته و به قتل رسیده بودن. قالیباف اون زمان فرمانده نیروی انتظامی کشور بود و دقیقا مثل امروز تشنه قدرت. پلیس چندبار به خونواده‌های بچه‌های گمشده که کم‌برخوردار بودن بی‌اعتنایی کرده بود. اگر دستشون رو دراز می‌کردن بیجه رو می‌گرفتن، با یک تحقیق ساده می‌شد از کشته شدن بچه‌های بیشتر جلوگیری کرد. انگار می‌ترسیدن الگانس‌های نو‌شون توی پاکدشت خاکی بشه. وقتی بالاخره بیجه دستگیر شد و کشور از شنیدن ابعاد جنایت‌ها شوکه شد، بعضی مقام‌ها دست‌کم ژست عذرخواهی و استعفا گرفتن. واکنش قالیباف چی بود؟ حاضر نشد حتی برای حفظ ظاهر عذرخواهی کنه و گفت این پرونده تجربه‌ای برای اصلاح و آسیب‌شناسی عملکرد پلیسه!

کشته شدن این همه کودک که جمجمه بعضی‌هاشون با آجر خرد شده بود، از نظرش «تجربه‌ای برای اصلاح عملکرد پلیس» بود. چرا عذرخواهی کنه وقتی سودی توش نیست؟
