I shipped a little Android tool as Spectre. Learned a bit late that name was already being used by another project.🤦♂️ On me. I don’t want to step on someone else’s branding or cause confusion.
Their Spectre keeps its name. Mine is now Fieldwatch — same receive-only Wi-Fi and BLE watcher, new application id, so the two don’t get mixed up.
A lot of you asked for source. I was already leaning MIT. Rebrand was a good time to do it. Fieldwatch is open source under the MIT License. Code and the sideload APK live in one public repo linked below.
Installing Fieldwatch does not replace Spectre on your phone. If you were on Spectre 1.2.14, sideload Fieldwatch when you’re ready and uninstall the old one if you want.
If you already use the other Spectre, this isn’t about you. I’m not asking you to switch. There is room for both.

Building hardware is hard enough and now i have to find the right vendors too?
That’s why i built The Hardware Story: verified vendors in one place.

pcb, cnc, prototypes, weird components, all of it.
If there’s a vendor you’ve worked with and can vouch for, drop them below pls 🙏
cuz this stuff is hard(ware).
In life, the first baby steps are the most important and eagerly awaited. Similarly, in technology innovation, the initial steps give confidence to achieve product maturity sooner rather than later. In Sisir Radar, we are building a Design Verification Model of a very miniaturised spaceborne SAR system in X band with an unfurlable antenna. Our team finally cracked the complex design and manufacture of links for an unfurlable antenna. Our engineers demonstrated the first version of the 2 m dia. unfurlable antenna structure, in stowed and deployed configuration. The structural members are realised with CFRP. The links are realised with 3D printed parts and machined elements. The best part is that all the links and edge elements were manufactured completely in-house. We have immense pride in mentioning that we are the third group in the country, after ISRO and DRDO, to build this complex unfurlable antenna reflector structure completely from scratch. The credit goes to Team Sisir. Keep watching our posts to see further developments.
Inspired by 'Root My Galaxy', here is Root My Pixel: an #Android app that leverages #CVE-2026-43499 to get temporary one-tap root access with ReSukiSU.
But, as you can see in the video, it took almost 10 minutes to complete the process, including one failed attempt along the way.
If interested in Drone 'Remote-ID' (even if to verify your own signal), Sparrow-wifi (https://t.co/3VHx3AA3dv) was an easy Pi4 install & works perfectly! Be sure to use recommended ALFA adapter for monitoring. LiFePO4 battery, Pi4, ALFA, & GPS makes it portable. Fun project!
OpenAI and Hugging Face probably won’t tell us exactly what happened anytime soon.
So I decided to reconstruct the full exploit chain, from escaping OpenAI’s sandbox to compromising Hugging Face production. 🧵
The first autonomous agent cyberattack is an unprecedented event that deserves unprecedented transparency. Today we’re sharing everything we can: a full technical timeline, an interactive replay, and how we used an open model to defend ourselves, so defenders everywhere can learn from it and prepare for what’s next.
