The mindset of ‘I can’t be sick, I have to be happy’ created a sort of anxiety for me. But, ah, since fans will be reading this interview, there’s something I really want to share. I thought they’d definitely read this. It’s a bit delicate, but if there are any fans out there who are struggling through a difficult winter because they’re not feeling happy, I really want to tell them that it’s okay not to feel happy all the time. Christmas and New Year may look like times when everyone is happy, but when you really look at it, they’re no different from any other day. Maybe just the streets are a little more sparkling? I don’t want anyone to feel like they’re the only ones not happy. Happiness isn’t something special or far away. It can be found in the smallest, most trivial places.”
