Idk if this happens to you but I get really sad how life is passing by so quick. I wish it could slow down but I know that is not the case. The only thing I do now is cherish every second as hard as I can
🗣️ 💔 Trossard’s emotional message to Arsenal fans…
🗣️ “Arsenal will always feel like home to me. From the moment I arrived, this club embraced me, believed in me, and gave me some of the best moments of my career.
If it were entirely up to me, I’d stay here for many more years. Unfortunately, football isn’t always that simple, and sometimes decisions are made that are beyond a player’s control.
No matter what happens in the future, I’ll always be grateful to my teammates, the manager, the staff and especially the Arsenal supporters. You welcomed me as one of your own and I’ll never forget that.
Wherever life takes me next, Arsenal will always hold a special place in my heart.”

🚨🎙️ Thierry Henry quote on a Gyökeres–Álvarez swap deal
🗣️ "If you ask me whether Arsenal should swap Viktor Gyökeres for Julian Álvarez, I understand why people are talking about it. Álvarez is one of the most complete forwards in world football today. He can press, create, score, play between the lines and make everyone around him better. I've said before that I really like his game because he can do almost everything a modern number nine is asked to do."
"But football isn't played on paper. Gyökeres gives Arsenal something different — power, presence, aggression and goals. He's the type of striker defenders hate facing. If you're talking about a straight swap, I'd be very careful because you're not just exchanging players, you're changing the identity of your attack.
"Now, if Arsenal somehow ended up with Álvarez, every fan would be excited because he's a world-class talent. But my question would be: why give away a striker who has already proven he can lead the line for you? Great teams don't always replace quality with quality; sometimes they add quality to quality.
"For me, the dream scenario would be finding a way to have players of that level in the same squad. That's how title-winning teams become dynasty teams. If I were Arteta, I'd think long and hard before letting Gyökeres leave, even for a player as special as Álvarez."
The World Cup has made me realize how united we as humans can be. Why are we fighting wars for wealthy men when we could be singing each other’s national anthems with our arms around one another?
David Raya: “The thing is that when you lose a Champions League final, when you get there for the first time in 20 years & then you lose on penalties, it destroys you inside. I left there with my head held high, but I was broken inside because we were so, so, so close.”
“You don’t know when you’ll play another one or even if you will play another one. When I went home, I was broken. We stayed [in Budapest] over night & travelled the next morning. That night is very, very hard.”
“The following morning too, [but] then you reach the Emirates Stadium, you see the fans & that lifts you. When you come out on the bus with the Premier League trophy & see all the people, what it means to them, you realise what you’ve done.”
“You take a step back & look at it with perspective. You think about the way the club was a few years ago & the way it is now, how each year we got better in the Champions League, how we won the league for the first time in over 20 years…”
“That gets a smile out of you. That’s when you think next year we can do better & win the Champions League.” ❤️🔥🇪🇸 [@guardian_sport]
🚨 Thierry Henry: “Last season, all my focus was on Arsenal winning the Premier League. I wanted it so badly for the club, the players, and especially the supporters. Seeing them achieve it made me incredibly proud.
My dream this season is to see Arsenal lift the Champions League. We came so close, but football is decided by the finest margins. It wasn’t meant to be that time.
Now, we go again. This club belongs at the top of European football, and I believe our moment will come. Let’s chase that Champions League together this season.”

You’re Ronaldo. You’re coming into your last-ever World Cup at 40, hoping to finally win it, and then your biggest rival scores a hat-trick before you’ve even kicked a ball. It takes insane mental fortitude not to pack your bags and go home. 😭😭😭
