Comparing Xian's Consensus Mechanism with #Bitcoin, #Ethereum, and #Polygon

⚙️ Bitcoin uses Proof-of-Work (PoW), which is energy-intensive and requires miners to solve cryptographic puzzles. Finality is probabilistic, requiring multiple confirmations to reduce risk of forks. Even being mega popular, this is one the most inefficient blockchains ever.

⚙️ Ethereum transitioned to Proof-of-Stake (PoS) with Ethereum 2.0. This improved scalability and efficiency. But still, finality is reached via validators in a slower consensus process compared to CometBFT.

⚙️ Polygon uses a combination of PoS and Plasma chains for faster transactions. However, finality still depends on Ethereum, introducing some delay.

⚙️ #Xian utilizes #CometBFT for fast, secure transaction validation with instant finality and high throughput. Validators agree deterministically on block validity and order, eliminating delays.

Xian’s CometBFT offers instant finality and higher efficiency compared to #PoW and #PoS models.
