POV: The Ousmane Dembélé disrespect is so forced.
If you actually watched football before the TikTok era, you’d know Dembélé was ALWAYS seen as a generational talent. Barca paid €120M for him while PSG had to loan Mbappé first before buying him permanently.
Mbappé had the better career trajectory and achievements, but talent-wise? Dembélé was right there, some would even argue more gifted technically.
His problem was injuries, not ability. The first season he stayed fully fit, he helped the La Masia boys win La Liga over Benzema’s Madrid while dominating games.
People acting shocked that he has a Ballon d’Or level season clearly forgot this guy had 20 assists for Dortmund at 19 YEARS OLD in his debut season.
Dembélé was never a random player.
He was always world class potential waiting for consistency. ⚡️
My self respect has been on high since i came out of my mother’s womb. You’ll never catch me fooling myself at any point in time. In anyone’s DM or in real life.
When someone tells you something can't be done, remember there's a sign at NASA that says:
Aerodynamically, a bee's body is not made to fly, but bees don't know that. 🐝
Real nggas don’t live double lives. They say who they fw, how they fw them, and let the cards fall where they may. If you gotta lie, sneak, and manipulate just to keep access… you not real, you just scared of consequences.
