Tom Busch takes the green flag, waved by @brextonbusch, & completes a honorary lap by himself as the @CookOut Summer Shootout field goes to pit road.
Completing the lap, Brexton waves double checkered flags before Tom takes Kyle Busch's 51 to the garage.

Before pride month starts im just gonna say this:
-men’s mental health month is in November
-straight pride isn’t a thing. Nobody has ever been oppressed or killed for being straight
-veterans get 2 months. May and November
So do some research before complaining :)
If you’re a NASCAR under the age of 47, you’ll be watching your first ever Cup race today without a Busch or an Earnhardt in it.
The 2026 Coca-Cola 600 will be the first NASCAR Cup Series race without an Earnhardt or Busch in the field since 1979.
Richard Childress Racing has elected to suspend use of the No. 8 and will run the No. 33 at Charlotte Motor Speedway and beyond. Kyle Busch was instrumental in the design of RCR’s stylized No. 8 and it has become synonymous with Kyle and an important symbol for his fans and the NASCAR industry. No one can carry it forward to the level that he did. The No. 8 is reserved and ready for Brexton Busch when he is ready to go NASCAR racing.
absolutely think it would be great if NASCAR fans supported the @bundleofjoyfund it’s a charity created by Samantha and kyle busch and provides monetary grants for in-need couples struggling with infertility and the costs associated with IVF treatment.
i have no words. i saw the news of him going to the hospital but had no idea it was that serious. keeping the busch family in my thoughts, especially his children. 41 is way too young.
finding out kyle busch died at work is actually horrible because how do i continue my work day???? i genuinely feel so fucking embarrassed for sobbing.
