Most Indian teachers/professors are commercial service providers at best, unworthy of being called "Guru". Most aren't at fault - India's colonial education system leaves them no choice - they have to fit in and earn a living.

The sooner parents realize this and set expectations accordingly, the better the outcomes will be for their children.

Trump just torpedoed billions in potential U.S.-India defense deals with one reckless, narcissistic remark about using trade as leverage to pressure India. In a single stroke, he confirmed every fear Indian defense planners have: that America is an unreliable partner willing to weaponize even its own alliances.

If trade can be used as blackmail, imagine the leverage the U.S. would try to exert by controlling critical defense platforms during a conflict. No sovereign nation wants to be held hostage by a foreign supplier—especially one as erratic as Trump.

Mr Trump’s post is disappointing for India in four important ways: First, it implies a false equivalence between the victim and the perpetrator, and seemingly overlooks the US’ own past unwavering stance against Pakistan’s well-documented links to cross-border terrorism. Second, it offers Pakistan a negotiating framework which it certainly has not earned. India will never negotiate with a terrorist gun pointed at its head. Third, it “internationalises” the Kashmir dispute, an obvious objective of the terrorists. India rejects the idea of a dispute and sees the problem as an internal affair of India’s. India has never requested, not is likely to seek, any foreign country’s mediation over its problems with Pakistan. And fourth, it “re-hyphenates” India and Pakistan in the global imagination. For decades now, world leaders had been encouraged not to club their visits to India with visits to Pakistan, and starting with President Clinton in 2000, no US President had done so. This is a major backward step.

⚠️ FIRST-HAND PROOF OF 🇵🇰PAKISTAN USING INTERNATIONAL PASSENGER FLIGHTS AS AIRBORNE HUMAN SHIELDS ⚠️

Pilot friend of mine was flying a commercial aircraft from Dubai to Delhi on May 9. His flight was forced to rapidly descend from 35,000 ft to 15,000 ft by Ahmedabad ATC while entering Indian airspace near Jamnagar. The ATC’s instructions were non-routine, sudden and firm. Why? Because Pakistani drone/aircraft activity in the Sir Creek area had alerted Indian authorities. This descent wasn’t normal; it was a calculated measure to protect the aircraft amidst hostilities. Clear proof of what the Indian Government has been saying: Pakistan kept its airspace open during an air battle, recklessly endangering civil flights, even using them as potential shields. For my friend, it was surreal — he only found out the scale of the confrontation after landing. This is Pakistan gambling with human lives—in this case international passengers—plain and simple. @icao @DGCAIndia
