While the rest of the world is dedicated to curing cancer, America has cut BILLIONS of funding for the National Cancer Institute. Veterans, 9/11 survivors, children and millions more have lost or been delayed access to life saving cancer treatments in the US.

The Trump administration has not just hindered cancer research for new treatments but has fired several researchers who are responsible for discovering treatment options for patients.

He cut $1 TRILLION dollars from Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act. People who no longer have health care coverage that may have cancer are not able to get a diagnosis because they cannot afford to see a doctor.

He has allowed Big Pharma to no longer lower the cost for cancer treatments and also defunded Planned Parenthood which many women use to get screenings to see if they have breast cancer.

The long-term harm this will cause cannot be understated. He will kill so many people. Who knows how many have already died because they weren’t able to receive treatment. In 2025 over 2 million people were diagnosed with cancer in the US. Almost 6 thousand people are diagnosed every day.

Think about how many of those people could be treated and cured if we had a president that actually valued the lives of his citizens.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest cancers, with very poor survival rates.

A cure in animal models is a huge step closer to a possible cancer treatment in humans.
