I admire the fact that Omar Suleiman shows us the beauty of mercy, grave, afterlife, existence... always with kindness, blessings and without fear. He reveals the beauty of Islam and inspires a desire to learn more about it, about Allah swt and to love Him even more.
In this final week of Shaban, expect the Shaytan to throw his hardest punches to leave an effect that won’t be easily undone in Ramadan. Don’t fall for it.
Seek refuge in Allah and do the opposite of all that the devil whispers to you.

Remarkable - but also not
150 years later, surat Duha sounds like... surat Duha
It's remarkable from a human historical perspective, where languages are constantly evolving, accents, pronunciation etc. (e.g. Beowulf is completely incomprehensible today)
But for any student of Quran, it's not a surprise at all. The care and precision that goes into recitation, and that it must be passed from teacher to student, in an unbroken chain back to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ make it hard to imagine it would be any different
