A week ago, our little app was just @_a_lex_is, me, and a few close friends.

Today there’s a 9PM across 3/4 of the world’s time zones. That’s wild.

People are begging for innovation in social. We hear it, and we see it in the data.

More importantly, we finally have a real base of people using it, leaving, coming back, and telling us what they love.

Now we can really build with impact.

This summer I locked in and built a freaking photo app, and I’m still not sure I should launch this thing.

I remember having the exact same feeling with Frontback. It was all wearables and the sharing economy, and I was sitting there in Brooklyn wondering if a selfie app was “smart” enough.

I should probably just f*ck it and ship it.

@alpennec @sowenjub @frederikRiedel And it’s definitely the simulator. Even if you only use Xcode, I’m convinced it sort of “pre-heats” some simulator instance to make previews faster.

@Dimillian I bet Swift 6 is not meant to be used without approachable concurrency or default actor isolation set to MainActor. But I just can't currently verify this in my codebase.

I'm having this kind of crash as well by calling
`try await PHPhotoLibrary.shared().performChanges { ... }`
only when building with `-enable-actor-data-race-checks` in Swift 5.
In Swift 6 it's on by default.

@benjamincode À quoi ressemble ce screen sur ton 12 mini ? Si la batterie est naze ça explique le lag et un remplacement va aider mais j'ai parfois du lag aussi sur le mien qui est tout neuf donc ça peut venir aussi du software. La batterie 13 mini est juste _un peu_ meilleure il parait.
