The National Service Authority (NSA) brought the heat to the Afua Sutherland Children’s Park in Accra over the weekend during Channel One TV’s AgriFair 2025. Attendees were treated to an Exciting Array of Agro-Products, including Fresh Broilers, Catfish, Farm-Fresh Eggs, and mouthwatering Chicken Kebabs. The NSA’s participation showcased its commitment to Youth-led Agribusiness and National Food Security, proving that Service to the Nation goes far beyond the Classroom or Office. The NSA stand quickly became a crowd favourite as visitors indulged in Delicious samples and learnt more about NSA’s Agricultural Initiatives.

In Commemoration of the 2025 Day of the African Child, As Chairperson of the @_cycofficial, I joined stakeholders from the African Union (@_AfricanUnion) and GEM Report UNESCO (@GEMReport) to launch the Africa SDG 4 Scorecard.

The Africa SDG 4 Scorecard is a progress report on national benchmarks that shows where countries stand compared to where they want to be in relation to SDG4.

Speaking at the event, I discussed the need for youth participation in the development of educational polices.

I also encouraged stakeholders to ensure the scorecard translates into real action and reaffirmed the CYC’s commitment to work with stakeholders to leverage the scorecard towards developing robust educational systems across the continent.

On March 8, 2025, in commemoration of International Women’s Day, I, together with my colleague executives at the Commonwealth Youth Council @_cycofficial, and with the support of the @LSEPfAL, organised the inaugural edition of The Commonwealth Leadership Series.

The session included a fireside chat and a youth conversation panel featuring speakers from academia, industry, and youth leaders.

The idea is to establish the Commonwealth Leadership Series as a leading platform for bringing together relevant stakeholders to share their leadership experiences and provide actionable insights on tackling the most significant challenges of today and the future.

I am happy we succeeded in partnering with PfAL at LSE for this edition. We look forward to more partners and are ready to co-create some of the sessions of the Leadership Series with interested organisations.

I paid an official visit to the Ghana High Commission in London to formally introduce myself as the Chairperson of the Commonwealth Youth Council (@_cycofficial).

I used the opportunity to express gratitude to the Government of Ghana for nominating me for the role and for all the support I have received since my inauguration.

The Government of Ghana has, over the years, strongly supported Ghanaians who have served on the CYC Executive Committee. This has been evident in the great contributions made by Christabel Derby and Abena Dugan, who previously held roles at the CYC. The two have also greatly supported me since I took office as Chairperson.

I look forward to working together with Ghana’s High Commission and all other High Commissions in London to deliver on my mandate of mainstreaming youth voices across the Commonwealth.

Ghanaian couple, Mr. William Agyemang and Deaconess Mrs. Mary Agyemang, have singlehandedly constructed and donated a fully-furnished church building to the Asofan English Assembly of The Church of Pentecost.

The Agyemangs, a devout Christian family also donated musical instruments, a lectern and 200 customized chairs.

10-year-old Lisa Laryea, who was flown to South Africa for her stage 4 acute myeloid leukemia treatment, has undergone her first surgery, a bone marrow assessment was also conducted.

Lois’s dad served his country as a science teacher at Suhum Sec/Tec his whole active life. This year, he has lost his Mother-in-Law, his wife and now his kid (Lois). Although he was financially unstable as a pensioner, he still looked after Lois to become a Petroleum Engineer, only for her to die mysteriously during a company trip with her boss.

My constant communication with the family & people close to the family has revealed that Lois’s father is really struggling financially and emotionally at the moment. Sadly, he has three loved ones at the mortuary yet to be buried (including Lois).

Lois’s family is so disappointed that their daughter mysteriously died on a company trip and it seems the police, Chris Lord Palace Hotel and Lois’s ex-company )@myiconenergy ) are conniving to cover up something.

The family is not asking for money or anything from the authorities. All they are asking for is closure. All they are asking for is to find out what happened to their beloved daughter who started playing the role of a bread winner before dying mysteriously.

This could happen to you, it could happen to me and anybody else in this country. At least we should know that if it happens to any of us, our own country won’t turn its back on us and connive with the perpetrators. We should be assured that if anyone hurts us, they’ll face the wrath of the law, no matter how wealthy they are.
