I noticed something about myself…
I delay tasks the moment I start feeling overwhelmed.

So I tried something different today.

I had a 2 hour class to attend, and normally, I’d drag it, check my phone, pause, and stretch it longer than it should be.

But today, I set a clear plan.

First thing I did was remove my biggest distraction, and that’s my phone.
I put it in the sitting room, turned off notifications, and made sure nothing would pull my attention.

Because let’s be honest, it’s not always the task that’s hard,
it’s the distractions we allow.

Then I sat down with my laptop and told myself one thing:
“If you don’t finish this today, it’s not a successful day.”

That thought stayed in my head the whole time cos bro you gotta move and be better.
Don’t you want to be a better human?

There were moments I wanted to stand up, check my phone, or just “take a quick break”, but I didn’t.

I stayed glued to my seat until I was done.

And guess what?
It wasn’t as hard as my mind made it seem.

Most times, procrastination isn’t about being lazy.
It’s about letting small distractions control your focus.
