We recently launched our first vending machine for the homeless in Nottingham, UK. The purpose is two-fold: to function as a lifeline, but also as a service through which users keep in regular contact with support services like local shelters and outreach centres.
We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of our beloved patron, Professor Stephen Hawking. The world has lost a colossal mind and a wonderful spirit. His legacy will not be forgotten. RIP, Stephen.

The level of interest generated by this initiative has been truly staggering & shows that there is a growing amount of societal concern for #homeless people. This is proof that by coming together we can create powerful & innovative support programs for #homeless ppl #homelessness https://t.co/PlLB8UWCRa
The early data and feedback from our first machine has been very promising; we’ve had a deluge of interest from all corners of the globe, and we have a few major partnerships in the process of coming to fruition so we’ll have a lot of news to share in the coming weeks and months.
As a considerable amount of the produce we vend is received from food redistribution organisations, we’re aiming to simultaneously address two major social and environmental issues — homelessness and food waste.
