@Rackball93 I actually did get that same email, I must’ve gotten lucky that they let me get the money out. It was about $1.5k left in there so maybe since it was a smaller amount they just let me withdraw so I’d go away
I think we’re going to start seeing this happen more often. Kalshi and Polymarket are pulling the casual sports bettors away from traditional books. That leaves the sports books with a sharper customer base, and sharps win, like this guy does. The books are starting to bleed money and now don’t have the funds to pay out all their customers, so instead they just ban the winning accounts, keep their money and use it to pay the casual bettors that still remain.
Well... it's finally happened, I got got by an offshore bookie. @BovadaOfficial permanently shut my account down and confiscated 30.5k from me. Went to withdraw 2.5k, they asked for ID (which I provided), and shortly afterward they permanently banned my account and forfeited my remaining $28k balance.
Why? They say I've provided invalid information, and engaged in criminal and fraudulent activity.
I've repeatedly asked Bovada to identify the specific activity they're alleging was fraudulent or criminal, or provide any evidence supporting their decision.
Instead, I've gotten generic responses citing Terms of Service, followed by complete silence from them.
I made all my money live betting publicly available boxing and MMA lines. That's it. Over time, my betting limits went from $500 to $250 to $100 and to $5. That's when I decided to take my business elsewhere.
Still trying to get my money back, but I wanted to share this as a warning:
Don't leave large balances sitting in offshore sportsbooks. Until that money hits your bank account, its not yours (no shit).
Oh, and if anyone knows a good lawyer who handles disputes with offshore sportsbooks, shoot me a DM. @SBRReview@Covers
@Rackball93 I started a live chat with them and referenced the account, then provided them with all the documents they asked for and eventually they told me to login to the account only to request a payout and the account would be banned after that
Alex is one of the few honest guys in the industry that’s teaches people a proven mathematical strategy that actually works to beat the books. You yourself know that it works. Will you get limited by the soft books eventually? Yes. But you will make a good amount of money in the process if you do it right, and you can continue to get a decent amount down after limits. I’m currently doing this in California with only access to DFS apps and offshore books and it works. It’s not false hope, it’s real. That being said, most people still shouldn’t do this and I only do it because I love the grind. I’d much rather have the Alex’s of the world than basically everyone else in the space.
This is what it looks like when you consistently beat a sportsbook’s odds. In the middle of live betting NBA props on prop builder, they just revoke my account’s access to prop builder and live betting in general. It’s the exact same thing when a casino tells a card counter that they can’t play blackjack anymore but they can go play any other game. It’s because they know blackjack is beatable, and betUS knows that live props are beatable. They will still let me bet pre-match main markets and play in the casino of course. Shoutout @OddsJam for the tools that make it easy and @ArbThief for showing me the way 🙏
Why would anyone click on a referral link from a post that’s claiming the site has been compromised and to not login? I’m not saying you’re wrong here because clearly he lied about being drained, but I honestly didn’t see the referral link on the original post and that doesn’t make any sense to me. I could be wrong tho
@CarOnPolymarket Wow, not the first post I’ve seen on this either. I am so sorry to hear that man and I really hope they can make you whole. If @Polymarket can’t get users their funds back, I’d imagine a lot of people will be switching to @Kalshi
Wow. Really sorry to hear that man. I genuinely think these offshore books are bleeding money now, so they just ban winning accounts and keep their money to pay the losing bettors that remain. Prediction markets completely killed the offshore books business model. Why would someone in California who wants to bet on a game, choose to sign up for an offshore book like Bovada when they now have the choice to just use Kalshi or Polymarket and it’s completely legal? Even the domestic books like FanDuel and Draftkings can barely compete with the prediction markets.
Holy shit I’m so tired of these dumb ass posts. Kalshi and Polymarket make money off trading fees, not off outcomes. They don’t give a fuck if Anthony black goes over or under on any of his props because they already made their money the second you placed the trade. Please stop believing this retarded shit.
I told you guys Anthony Black had a zoom meeting with @Kalshi
8 Points 2 Rebounds 1 Assist
He agreed to the script & they let him play.
Hope I saved some people some money.
My bad for not letting you know about Naz Reid’s meeting with @Polymarket too.
The NBA is a joke.
That’s wild to me because parlay prices on prediction markers are generally terrible with how they price them. Novig almost always has the best main line prices, but then when you parlay them, it gives you a shit price for the combo. I guess that’s still better than taking 5 demons on prize picks lol
@AlexMonahaqyrt@amonahan_bets What are your thoughts on the OddsJam prediction traders tool then? I’ve never been able to profit on prediction markets but I can beat the soft books and DFS apps with the sharp money tool alone
