This is all you need to know about World Youth Skills Day (WYSD) 2025!
Every year on July 15, WYSD provides us the opportunity to highlight the importance of teaching young people skills for jobs and entrepreneurship.
My story began in the heart of Ibadan.
Growing up in Oyo State, life was simple and beautiful, until I lost my father at the age of eight. My mother became a single parent overnight, doing everything she could to raise my sister and me.
Is there a thing whereby you feel worthless until you have it?
Is there a thing that the thought of losing it makes you anxious?
That thing is an idol and it's lying to you.
It will torture you in this world if you don't turn from it. It is not loyal and it will betray you.
When you are well taught, your results will always speak. So whatever skill you want to learn, don’t settle for The easier option, go for the best learning option. Sometimes it is the extra trick or tip that you miss out on or gain that’ll set you apart for good or not.
We will also have the privilege of having a conversation with The Style Lady @GlowriJames . It will be enlightening, and mind blowing… 🔥Just register and get ready to learn.
We talk about owning the table as women, but are we even dressed for the occasion?
Let’s take a look at owning and honing your style through transitions. 23/03/2023 I.e. tomorrow by 7:30. https://t.co/hTN5noGciX. Entry is free, but registration is compulsory.

Hope is such a beautiful thing, but don’t hope on things that will fizzle out or things that can change. Place your hope in God and his consistent nature, else you set your self up for heartbreak . #hope#Godvibes
Because we are all about inspiring confidence in the modern African woman, we decided to talk about Styling through transitions.
As women we move through different phases of life, sometimes, so quickly that we forget ti take our wardrobe along.
Let’s talk about how not to leave our wardrobes behind this Thursday….
We’ll have a professional personal stylist and Fashion consultant @GlowriJames share with us on this.
