हज़ारों छात्राओं की मौजूदगी ने बता दिया कि जब महिलाओं को अपनी बात कहने का मंच मिलता है, तो उनकी आवाज़ किसी भी दीवार से बड़ी होती है।

श्री @RahulGandhi जी ने महिलाओं की स्वतंत्रता, सम्मान, सुरक्षा और समान अधिकारों की बात की - उस सोच के खिलाफ़ आवाज़ उठाई जो सदियों से महिलाओं को किसी न किसी रिश्ते या पहचान के दायरे में बांधती आई है।

महिला किसी की संपत्ति नहीं।
उसकी अपनी पहचान है।
उसके अपने सपने हैं।
और अपने भविष्य पर उसका पूरा अधिकार है।

पुणे की यह ऐतिहासिक गूंज सिर्फ़ एक कार्यक्रम की तस्वीर नहीं, बदलते भारत की तस्वीर है।

Why? Because men like those in the ruling dispensation in Maharashtra and at the Centre — and their patrons in the RSS - feel emasculated and threatened by independent women: women with a mind to think and a voice to ask questions.

And when they cannot answer those questions, they choose force and violence.
