@kwabena_k2@TwoTerty__ The Chinese are behind this mess, and it's not just in Kumasi. They're going to keep going until the entire country is destroyed by it.
@AtindanaVictor1 That's interesting. I hope that relationship will be enough to get them to speak out against the abuse that TOTAL is a part of in other countries. We don't need any more corruption in Ghana
@MaameEsiGold Accra is one of the largest cities in Ghana and we need to see the same efforts there. But how are we going to achieve that when all of our money is going towards paying off debt from BRI loans??
@GOVERNOR716@tv3_ghana We are basically exporting all our gold the same way, only to have it turned into jewelry and then imported back to us at a higher price. Galamsey is so detrimental to ghana
@Adwoakyeraaba@O_Kantinka@CheEsquire Naw the only jobs are for the Chinese who are doing the galamsey. They import all the Chinese workers and then fire all the Ghanaians
@NiiOtoCofie the flooding is because of all the galamsey!! They are literally ruining the land to the point that it is unrecognizable and now we are all dealing with the consequences
@HAgbofa I have no faith in any mining scheme that does not prioritize putting an end to galamsey. There is no legitimate mining that needs to be done in Ghana. There is only illegitimate mining that needs to stop
@AlgiersHerald We have to do more to punish those who disregard these conservation efforts. Right now the only ones following the rules are the Ghanaians trying to protect their environment.
@MohammedAliu6@NkosiVP@AfricaFactsZone We need to start holding the real culprits accountable. The Chinese are the ones bribing these civil servants to get away with galamsey
