Having 20 plus experience, my opinion is a bit opposite. Leading a team of Indians in US from India, most of them earning more than me in dollar terms but unless explain them line by line , they can't code and when they do through AI , those things does not work because testing is complex so they don't test. But there narrative is correct in those IT gians service companies.

This is very common in IT industries , especially if you land in the team containing veterans with 5 plus years in the same company. Either you build relation with them by bowing down to them or gain some knowledge exclusively for which they become dependent on you.Also you have to grow some thick skene. Everything is not bed of roses.

This trend of bubbling up salary started in a site named Quora where every Tom, Dic, Harry used to post rag to riches story where they passed out from tier 3 college and then from 3 lpa to 80 lpa or 1 cr withing 5 years. These used to generate very high views as everyone likes this kind of stories. Now it has spread everywhere. The amount mentioned here is for someone having 1.1 cr base salary.

I always prefer Amul and using Amul products from childhood. It is an Indian product.
