This is dangerous. In Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar, SP Abhishek Singh ordered hotels, Dhabas and small time vendors falling on the route of Kanwar Yatra to display the names of the owners in front of their shops aiming to identify the religion of the owners.

Background: During the Kanwar Yatra last year, Swami Yashveer Maharaj, director of the ashram located in Baghra, Muzaffarnagar, accused the people of Muslim community of naming hotels and dhabas located on National Highway based on the names of Hindu deities and took action against such people. Even this time he has been demanding to mention the names of Muslim hotel operators, Fruit vendors etc in bold letters.
