Make sure you know the teachers of the people you look up to.

Tragic mistakes, moral failing, oppression - all are theoretically possible from any person.

But if you know the one that they consider their teacher - their source of legitimacy and knowledge - you can take your concerns to that person and hope to stop any potential damage by having it addressed and with severe action taken if the indicating statements/behavior don't stop.

If someone doesn't have a teacher that is identified, don't take from them. It's a non-starter.

May Allah protect us and our families from the devils amongst mankind. May He punish severely those who use His Deen for their own personal gain and pleasure. And may He keep us all sincere and clear in our faith.

ينزل في الثلث الاخير من الليل كأي ليلة
وينزل ايضاً في عشية يوم عرفة
متى يبدأ العشيّ ؟ بعد صلاة الظهر
أعظم وافضل الاوقات لأجابت الدعاء
هو بعد صلاة الظهر وقبل اذان العصر وبعد العصر الى قبل اذان المغرب
لان العشيّ يبدأ بعد ان تزول الشمس من كبد السماء🤍

We should never lose hope in the help of Allah and, therefore, should never stop making dua for the people of Palestine.

If the circumstances in Gaza are the catalyst for you to start making more dua, let them be. If this is what moves you and causes you to turn back to Allah, let it be. As our strongest weapon, now is the time to teach ourselves, our families, and our communities how to make dua.
