AMERICA, YOU ARE NEXT 🇺🇸
I’m incredibly honored to be joining the speaker lineup at Social Fest 2026 in Texas alongside some of the world’s most influential creators, including Keith Lee, Aaron Parnas, and many more. African food on Global Stages❤️
My daughter is 2 weeks old, yet I’m planning to set her up for life financially.
Today, I set up her very own Junior ISA. Each month, the child benefit money received from the government shall be invested (£108.20)
Myself and my partner will also contribute £100 each, meaning each month £308.20 is put away for her future. When she turns 18, this matures into an ISA.
Assuming an 8% annual growth rate (modest) on her 18th birthday she will have £162,415. From £200 of our own money each month.
I’ll be sharing this journey on this account.
This is a message to new and old parents out there: Open up a junior ISA today. The longer the money is left, the bigger the grow growth.
Sir @JDMahama, I would be deeply honored to cook with you someday. Over a meal, I’d love for us to explore the future of Ghanaian food, culture and how we can showcase our cuisine to the world . Thank you 🇬🇭
🚨 Calling All Nigerians in the UK – Urgent Support Needed 🇳🇬🇬🇧
We have just received heartbreaking news about a Nigerian family in Plymouth whose home was completely destroyed by fire.
A 10-year-old child is currently in the hospital
The other two children are temporarily staying with friends
The family has lost everything including passports, important documents, clothing, and personal belongings.
This is a critical moment for us as a community. The family is not entitled to public funds, so they are relying entirely on support from people like us.
We are calling on: 🙏🏾 The Nigerian community in the UK to come together and support with donations
👕 Anyone who can provide children’s clothes, shoes, and essentials
💷 Financial contributions from the @NIUKCommunity purse and individuals
They have also set up a GoFundMe and please let’s support and give whatever we can.
We also urge the Nigerian Embassy @Nigerialondon to urgently reach out and provide necessary welfare support to this family during this difficult time.
Now more than ever, we must stand together and show what it truly means to be a community.
If you can help in any way, please reach out immediately.
Let’s come through for our own. ❤️🇳🇬
600 more Ghanaians register at our High Commission to be evacuated from South Africa.
When the safety and dignity of Ghanaians are at stake, the Government of Ghana does not compromise or dither.
I am immensely proud of the resilient spirit of Ghanaians.
See you soon -- there's no place like home.
For God and Country 🇬🇭 🙏🏾
We are not quite, stop attacks on fellow Africans. The sad thing is you will come for us too, we have seen you not even caring that people are illegal or not.. children or not. You are bullies and heartless
A 38-year-old pregnant Ghanaian woman, Anabella Gyasi, and her four-year-old son have been detained for more than a week at Washington Dulles International Airport in the United States despite travelling with valid tourist visas for medical treatment.
Reports indicate that Anabella Gyasi arrived in the US on May 19, 2026, with her son, who had a scheduled medical appointment on May 30, 2026 ahead of planned surgery.
The American Civil Liberties Union of Virginia has since filed an emergency petition in federal court on Gyasi’s behalf, seeking her immediate release after she and her son were held in a windowless detention room at the airport for over a week.

I hosted my very first Brunch Club IN LONDON with a Caribbean Restaurant, Soul mama❤️🇬🇧. My goal was simple, to fuse Ghanaian and Caribbean cuisine and culture together. It's surprising how our cuisines and cultures are very similar!
