@BenjiNaesen Yeah I'd also like to know. Also, if the average weight of the bike was 6.78±0.035 kg (hypothetical standard deviation based on the two measurements mentioned), then you simply cannot say that the bike is below 6.8 kg.

@BenjiNaesen @cyclingraw A quick check shows me that the minimum readibility of hanging scales (which I guess is what they use for bikes) is typically around 10-20g. The ones that go down to 5g have a maximum weight of 5 kg. So yeah, not saying this is what happened but I'd definitely make sure to check.
