Tiger Bech was an All-Ivy League kick returner at Princeton. He was a brother, a son, a teammate and a best friend. He was also a victim of the attack in New Orleans on New Year's Day.

Those close to him share who Tiger was and his enduring legacy.

Tiger Bech, Former Princeton Football Player, Deserves To Be Honored As A Hero After Sacrificing His Own Life To Save Others In New Orleans Attack https://t.co/TLHExMCdJD

[Governor Jeff Landry @LAGovJeffLandry]

Today in Louisiana, we honor and remember Tiger Bech. Our flags fly half-staff in tribute.

[Sean Gleeson @Coach__Gleeson]

Thinking about Tiger and the entire @PrincetonFTBL family. Such a tragedy. His impact on the ‘17 & ‘18 teams was undeniable. Catch after catch in ‘17 Yale. A game changing crosser in Cambridge & the fearless return vs Dartmouth in ‘18.

#7. Your growth made you a champion.
