this is a photo of my great grandmother (1960), she was a passionate womens rights activist. she never stopped fighting for change, she refused to be silenced, and she inspires me every day ❤️ i love you grandma
A reminder that starting today, in Arkansas, a girl (no matter how young) who is raped/a victim of incest will be forced to carry her rapist’s baby to term in her tiny body.
This is not freedom. This is not mercy. This is not leadership.
Today, Life Won. By overturning Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court of the United States has given the American people a new beginning for life and I commend the Justices in the majority for having the courage of their convictions.
Roe v. Wade is the law of the land, and we must fight any and all attempts to overturn it. As president, I will codify Roe into law and ensure this choice remains between a woman and her doctor. https://t.co/kaJbYWcYhL
i’m so tired of abortion rights being framed around truly tragic circumstances like assault and incest. if you get pregnant & you don’t want to be pregnant, it is your right over your own body that is under siege. no one, including a fetus, can use your body against your consent.
For decades I have said Roe v. Wade was wrongly decided. Today, the Supreme Court overturned the abortion ruling and returned the issue to the states. Arkansas is a pro-life state, and we are able now to protect life.
