I officially retire from professional rugby today. A sport I’ve played 32 years which has helped shape me into the person I am today. I can’t thank everyone who has played a part in my journey enough, particularly you, the fans. Rugby will always be a part of my life. Thank you.

Ever since I was little, I have looked forward to making my debut for @FCBarcelona. Thanks to Allah this has been possible. Last night was a dream come true and such a special moment for me and my family. This means so much but it’s just the start inshallah. Força Barça ❤️💙

I’m not a good Muslim, but looking at Amir, my climbing friend - praying wherever he goes - even during a climbing trip: on the wall, makes me want to pray too. Betul lah orang cakap sometimes faith inspiration tak semestinya dekat masjid je. Atas gunung pun Allah bagi petunjuk.

@Bariiiiiq There's a hadeeth in which the Prophet (sall' Allahu 'alaihi wa sallam) saw a man praying that Allah give him patience, and told him instead to ask for ease, as asking for patience is asking for trial.
