Même chose pour May December, qui prend un tout autre point mais aborde une thématique similaire. Sa volonté d'être un thriller a nuit pour moi à une compréhension de l'histoire, des dynamiques des personnages et surtout à leurs évolutions.

Ces dernières semaines, j'ai vu Poor Things bien sûr, et bien que j'ai adoré cette réécriture de Frankestein et sa réalisation qui joue avec les angles et les couleurs, j'ai trouvé dommage que le film se concentre trop sur la sexualité et n'explore pas d'autres représentations.

Je suis allée voir Un Silence de Joachim Lafosse et il aborde le sujet très complexe de la pédophilie d'une manière intéressante. Malheureusement, cela implique tellement de troubles et d'émotions qu'il semble impossible de le traiter avec une réelle précision dans le sens voulu.
