Earlier today, I joined colleagues at the Special Plenary Session of the House of Representatives convened to address Nigeria’s worsening security challenges. In my contribution, I reaffirmed a position I have long held: Nigeria must embrace State Policing, not as a political slogan, but as an urgent, practical solution to the realities our communities face. Security cannot be effectively managed from Abuja alone.
I also stressed the need to improve police welfare and end recruitment driven by allocation or favor. States should determine their manpower needs, and the process must be digitized, transparent, and merit-based.
Beyond policing, I highlighted a painful but undeniable truth: many parts of the North face a deepening education crisis. With limited opportunities, young people become vulnerable to harmful online influences, including extremist propaganda - a growing and dangerous trend.
I made it clear that leaders, myself included, must take responsibility. While efforts have been made, we have not done enough. Nigeria cannot overcome insecurity without investing in the fundamentals: education, employment, community development, and effective governance.
Ultimately, every reform we advocate is for one purpose: to ensure that citizens can live in safety, raise their families in peace, and build meaningful lives without fear. That is the Nigeria we must all work toward - together.

The way he said "Nothing is impossible" describing the same Rabb who did miracles for Musa A.S, Yunus A.S, Ibrahim A.S, in the Battle of Badr. Thinking about these brings tears to my eyes, because, despite Allah having answered 99 of my duas out of 100, I at times think otherwise

JUSTICE FOR ENGR. ABDURRAHEEM MUSTAPHA ABUBAKAR 💔
Engr. Abdurraheem was a graduate of ABU Zaria, working in Abuja, and at the same time pursuing his Master’s degree in Engineering at NDA, Kaduna.
But on Friday, 29th August 2025, on his way to NDA for lectures, his life was cut short in the most painful and unjust way. Near Garkuwa Junction, a Kaduna State Police van knocked down the motorcycle he was riding. As if that wasn’t enough, an officer hit him on the head with a heavy bamboo (Gora) stick. 💔 He d!ed on the spot.
Eyewitnesses confirmed what really happened, but instead of owning up, the police tried to cover it up, claiming falsely that his motorcycle collided with a car. The same people meant to protect us took his life in cold bl00d. This is wickedness. This is injustice. This is murd£r.
Engr. Abdurraheem was not just a name,he was a son, a brother, a friend, a colleague. His life mattered. His dreams mattered. His bl00d cries for justice.
We cannot stay silent. We must demand justice. @PoliceNG 🚨

Boy, Calm down. Your family name carries a legacy that no amount of personal work can outshine, and even your father hasn't escaped that shadow. Everything you nd your forebears achieved is intrinsically tied to that name. Let's be real kaji, you were set before u were even born.

16 people killed just like that—like they were nothing. Actual human beings in the South murdered and burned 16 Northerners simply because of their identity, and look how calm everywhere is.
Deborah was just one person, yet to this day, we are still reminded of her murder.
When I told you people that most Nigerians NOT Nigeria are just intentionally wicked..
They gave you contract and paid you well BUT you are doing a substandard job!
