#Cheryautomobile announced the renewal of #yangzi's contract as Global spokeperson after 4 years. Azi is on the road of the actress with the longest cooperation with a vehicle brand.
Some fandoms used #TheHeir merch sales to drag Zi and Zimis only for Huaxi Metropolis Daily to report that the drama shipped 700k official merch items and generated 36 million RMB in revenue while successfully commercializing the Hui Ink IP 🤑 #YangZi

Without that company, she’s basically on the same level as XL, XF etc lmao. I wouldn't want to leave either 😂 most A-listers have publicly known works that built their status, but this wood has nothing. Just there flooding everyone
More of her peers are moving towards independence while she still dares not leave her agency lmao. This is what happens when your status is built on desperate marketing & resources instead of actual work. Flop 1 month, cover a Big 5 magazine the next and VOILA “top star”again 😂
getting insulted because 🥕 fans seek validation through their fave’s lifeline magazine covers. They even forgot Vogue couldn’t list a single representative work for their fave. She was literally the only one 😭
Look at her fans aggressively shading zi over their fave’s melon 😂 one melon and they immediately start throwing shots at zi unprovoked. Apparently anyone not on the mag isn’t a top star now? A whole league of genuinely talented actresses with actual representative works +

Congrats to #TheHeir#家业 for ranking No.1 on May dramas popularity list and to #YangZi’s Li Zhen for topping the May 2026 Maoyan Character Popularity Chart 🎉
This not being her first time just proves she doesn’t give af about yall opinions. Go and rest. I hope she does it again and again and again until yall learn to mind your business and realize there’s absolutely nothing wrong with this lmao
#LuYuxiao has liked a CP video of herself and #TanJianci again. She’s favorited or liked CP videos featuring herself with #TanJianci, #WuJunting, #ChengLei, and #HouMinghao before.
C-netz commented - She’s the champion of shipping herself with her male co stars in the CEnt
Recently #AshesOfLove OST also performed on school performance and sport competitions. YangZi dramas’ longtail impact can still be felt even a long time after it aired

#TheHeir - final thoughts
I may be in the minority, but I'm certain those of us who stuck through to the end rooted for this romance - at least I very much did. I know the pairing had its detractors. Some said the leads lacked chemistry (I disagree …there was a sweetness and gentleness to their interactions). Some shipped her with the big brother. Some were surprised #HanDongJun didn't even show up until Ep 6.
But for me, the romance was like a sweet dessert that added so much happiness to the main course. It tied in well with the plot and added value and conflict , necessary for a drama of this genre. The journey of this pair went through what felt like heaven and hell, and the drama gave it such a cruel twist with Wenqian's father being the reason for Li Zhen's family tragedies. Yet the leads, neither of whom should have had to carry the sins and trauma of the previous generation had their lives defined by it anyway.
And yet, in the midst of life's ups and downs, they found a perfect partnership and support in each other, which became such a heart-rending love story. The ending where Wenqian getting called back to war wasn't necessary for me, but I suppose, in keeping with the spirit of the show, it shows that no matter what life throws at them, they'll always find their way back to each other.
Romance aside, this is such a poignant drama- one centered on familial love and on staying true to honor, culture, and tradition. I certainly have gained more appreciation for ink culture as well.
Kudos to #YangZi for anchoring this drama with her absolutely fantastic performance as Li Zhen. Li Zhen's tenacity and her courage to live and love fiercely brought change and restored honor not only for her family but for the entire industry. Yang Zi was wonderfully supported by a well-chosen cast, including Han Dongjun, and the actors playing Seventh Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Li Dong and her mother.
This is a quality drama, and I would highly recommend it.
To be honest the hate peaked after she was nominated for magnolia for the 2nd time. People from many fds are so afraid her drama to be well received again and again thus the hate during BTBA airing period is so crazy. This hate train continues during and after the heir all the way to the way you come back. So for yz fans brace yourself cause the storm is not over 🧘
