Earlier this year, my grandfather died.
Despite being in his early nineties, he was still quite independent and active. Once lockdown struck, his condition deteriorated alarmingly quickly. It was heartbreaking to hear about it from the family who were able to see him.

UK may not be perfect, but where we are at is a result of capitalism not socialism.
No matter our beliefs, Jesus’ message of opening our hearts to those who are different from us has never felt more important than this Christmas.
