Statement Concerning the SHINE Hong Kong Fancon on Saturday, 25 July 2026
Be On Cloud Company Limited wishes to clarify the circumstances that occurred during the SHINE Hong Kong Fancon, attended by artists Mile Phakphum, Apo Nattawin, Son Yuke, and Euro Yotsawat.
Prior to the event, the Company and the organiser discussed and mutually agreed upon the relevant arrangements, including the number of activity participants, Fan Benefit entitlements, and the artists’ working hours. The organiser was responsible for ticket sales and managing all Fan Benefit entitlements in accordance with the terms agreed with the Company.
Leading up to the event, the Company consistently followed up with the organiser regarding the number of Fan Benefit entitlements and received confirmation that the total remained within the agreed scope and timeframe.
On the day of the event, all artists started work on time and participated fully in every activity according to the schedule and details provided. The Fan Benefits activities began at approximately 1.30 p.m. local time and were scheduled to conclude before the performance commenced at 7.00 p.m.
However, during the activities, the team discovered that the number of participants did not match the previously provided information and continued to increase. Despite repeated requests for the organiser to confirm the final, accurate number of participants, complete and clear information was not furnished. Consequently, the activities could not be completed within the scheduled timeframe.
It was originally agreed that the artists would have at least 30 minutes to rest and prepare before the performance. However, as activities extended beyond the scheduled time, the artists were unable to take the agreed break. The Company had to temporarily pause the activities to allow the artists to eat, rest, and prepare for the performance, which consequently began at approximately 8.00 p.m.
Immediately after the performance, all artists resumed the Fan Benefits activities to ensure fans received their entitlements as fully as possible. Throughout this period, the Company continued to liaise with the organiser regarding the remaining participants. However, it was only informed that the number was still being verified, while the number of activities continued to increase beyond previously confirmed figures.
According to the original schedule, all activities should have concluded by 10.00 p.m. However, this was not feasible due to discrepancies in the number of entitlements, the ongoing increase in participants, and the impact of Typhoon Noul in Hong Kong, which affected the use of the original venue.
The Company was later informed that the remaining activities would need to be relocated to a nearby restaurant. The artists requested time to have a meal before continuing with the next set of activities and again asked the organiser to provide a final, confirmed number of participants. Nonetheless, the information remained incomplete and continued to change.
