BREAKING: LeBron James is signing with the Philadelphia 76ers on a two-year, $8 million deal with a player option, Klutch Sports Group and Klutch CEO and Game Over show host Rich Paul tells ESPN.
@VikDeth502@JoyOnBroad This is what good teams do, look at the canadiens cap sheet and hurricanes cap sheet for examples. Jacob slavin makes under 7 million. Lane Hutson under 9. Imagine what those deals will look like in 3 years as the cap continues to rise
@VikDeth502@JoyOnBroad My entire point is that *hypothetically* if the team believed in him long term & his ability to explode they would have paid they extra few million now to lock him up to term now so that as the cap rises in year 4+ they have a top line player signed to a relatively cheap deal
I have a trade idea that I’ve been kicking around
Philly receives:
Larkin
Debrincat
Detroit receives:
Michkov
Zegras RFA rights
Philly gets instantly better. Detroit gets younger. Larkin goes to a playoff team in a good market. Michkov gets fresh start. Debrincat more productive than zegras
@AmedeoGrassia98 Under 10 = huge w
Only 4 years = minor L
Evens out in the grand scheme of things I think. I love the kid but as things stand it’s likely he’s a 2W at best, hope he ends up as a 1C, but there’s more doubt than hope for me. My guess is he tops out as a lower end first line wing.
Under 10 million for Zeeg in the current cap landscape is a W for Danny but gotta think that only getting him for 4 years is a relative loss too so it evens out. We’ll see if he’s just a 60 point 2C or a legit top line guy over the next two seasons.
@Anth_Chatburn Trading your franchise player isn’t an indicator of starting a rebuild? Where did the flyers pick in the upcoming draft after trading him too by the way? Regardless, you still cant answer my direct question, youre still deflecting away from it, which is pretty telling
@Anth_Chatburn 😂😂😂😂😂 that’s usually what people say when they can’t actually answer the question, they just deflect to something completely irrelevant.
@Anth_Chatburn Giroux was traded 4 years ago so effectively we are in year 4 of the rebuild without the 2 most important pieces on the roster & your point was that full tear downs take a decade+ so if you can tell me how the flyers current path is any different I’d love to be enlightened 😉
@Anth_Chatburn Adding to the point in which each player that was traded for is also surrounded by other highly drafted talent on the respective teams (marner eichel tkachuk barkov reinhart etc) also fits my point even more 😘 😘 😘
@Anth_Chatburn Considering my original point was the fact that you need to rebuild through the top end of the draft to acquire core pieces so even trading for guys who were at once drafted that high fits my point more than it does yours 😂 keep talking in circles man I can do this all day 😘
@Anth_Chatburn And if what you meant was that other people share the same sentiment as I do then surely you’d have some type of proper rebuttal lined up by now but quite clearly you cannot even keep up with me let alone “my dime a dozen views”
@Anth_Chatburn Still nothing about the argument just more personal jabs! “I wrote you off because you have dime a dozen views” what was that supposed to mean then big brain? Now I voice to text? You can do better than this buddy your whole profile is dedicated to it 😂😂😂😂
@Anth_Chatburn Oh my, you are as dumb as you seem. can’t refute my argument so you’re pointing to tweet views and calling me desperate. It’s gotta suck to have this whole mantra of flyers knowledge but no ability to back it up whatsoever 😂 clown face! 🤡
@Anth_Chatburn I supported everything I said with evidence and you just wrote it off because it doesn’t agree with the narrative you have pre determined in your head, which, considering the nature of your entire account I am not at all surprised by. You don’t know puck, stop pretending you do.
