In today’s earnings release, Eternal released a shareholder letter. What caught my eye was Deepinder Goyal’s Key Takeaways on AI https://t.co/QZZ2u1KRfE: A privacy-first AI platform
•Deepinder is developing https://t.co/QZZ2u1KRfE, an AI platform focused on privacy and confidentiality.
•It aims to protect conversations, personal thoughts, research and business ideas.
•The platform will use fine-tuned open-weight models, its own infrastructure and end-to-end encryption.
•Users will control their encrypted memory across sessions.
•It is designed for founders, researchers, scientists, enterprises and governments.
•Deepinder hopes to launch https://t.co/QZZ2u1KRfE globally within 2026.
•He says its AI models will prioritise truth over simply pleasing users.
AI agents: Threat or opportunity for Zomato and Blinkit?
•Zomato and Blinkit face relatively low risk from AI agents, while District faces medium-to-high risk.
•More than 65% of Zomato app opens are exploratory, according to Deepinder. Customers enjoy discovering restaurants, browsing menus and looking at food pictures.
•AI agents may take over repetitive tasks such as repeat orders and restocking, but Deepinder says reordered carts currently account for only a low-single-digit share on Zomato and Blinkit.
•AI can place an order, but fulfilling it reliably is much harder.
•Zomato depends on coordination between restaurants, kitchens, delivery partners, routing and payments.
•Blinkit relies on real-time inventory, dark-store operations, picking and dispatch to enable rapid deliveries.
•Deepinder argues that the company controlling fulfilment and taking responsibility for the customer outcome will retain significant value.
Five important implications for investors
1Execution becomes the moat: Operational excellence and fulfilment infrastructure may matter more than owning the customer interface.
2Markets could consolidate: AI agents may direct customers towards the best-performing platforms, strengthening market leaders.
3Content advantages may weaken: AI can aggregate reviews, ratings and information from across the internet, reducing the value of proprietary content alone.
4New market opportunities could emerge: Strong fulfilment infrastructure may help companies enter categories previously protected by established content advantages.
5AI could generate incremental demand: Personalised recommendations from AI agents may create additional transactions, potentially reducing reliance on traditional customer acquisition channels such as Google and Meta.
What about profitability?
•Deepinder believes AI intermediation need not automatically compress margins for Zomato and Blinkit.
•Platforms that continue to power sales and fulfilment should be able to capture a fair share of the transaction economics.
•However, this is his strategic thesis, not a guarantee that margins will remain unaffected.
The central investment takeaway: Deepinder believes AI may weaken businesses that rely primarily on customer discovery and content, while strengthening companies with superior supply chains, fulfilment capabilities and execution.

Reliance responds to @elonmusk
Statement from Reliance Industries
In light of recent remarks about Reliance and the Indian market, we wish to place the facts on record.
Like every Indian enterprise, Reliance has grown in an India that welcomes investment and innovation, homegrown or international, that improve the lives of the people.
That openness rests on the rule of law. As the Government of India has stated, it applies the same process to every applicant, Indian or foreign. Jio's own satellite services await clearances.
At Reliance, we have never feared competition. We see it as the truest test of who serves the customer best. Jio itself entered India's crowded telecom market in 2016 as the newest player, with not a single customer. In just ten years, Jio has earned the trust of over 530 million customers and given Indians some of the best digital infrastructure and most affordable data in the world.
We welcome competition in satellite communications, including Starlink. Every player, Jio included, must serve the people of India and abide by the laws and policies of the land
Congratulations to @_anujsinghal for leading from the front on the CAS issue right from day one.
You were the first to speak up for traders and investors at the right time, when sharp moves on expiry days were hurting people. You explained the problem clearly, backed it with facts, and stayed with it till SEBI listened.
While others stayed quiet, you stood firmly with retail traders. That is real journalism.
Proud of your effort. Love you, Anuj bhai.

Big breaking news: the partial CAS rollback is here.
The biggest change is the one which we all pushed for.
On expiry day, it will be back to VWAP settlement
So good bye to the expiry day fun and games.
The big AI reversal is finally here?
1) Kospi down another 7%
2) SK Hynix and Samsung down 7-10%
3) CoreWeave Inc. bonds fall to levels that usually indicate "distress"
4) Most chip and AI related stocks are down 4-10%
Big question: Is the recent Indian IT rally here to stay?
The FM statement actually rules out any immediate STT cut. All she is saying is
1) We are very close to the budget and the preparation for the budget has started and it may not be the best time for me to say what I will or what I will not consider.
2) So, this debate on tax in the market, debate on the securities transaction tax, and also the question of treating all asset classes similarly, has been a very well-discussed topic.
3) Two years ago, we had brought all asset classes similarly, and people thought I'm increasing the tax. I wasn't increasing the tax. I was bringing all of them to be at par with one another so that an investor is not speculating as to which one gives them greater leverage.
4) So, these are things which on which there's a lot of debate. So, it's healthy to have this debate, and I will be keen to hearing them.
As a huge fan of Drishyam, hugely let down by the last part. Absolutely not needed, no proper story, no space given to any of the great actors except Jaideep Ahlawat. Should have left it at Drishyam 2.
How’s the Tata group faring after the demise of Ratan Tata. We look at some data on the second anniversary of Mr Tata’s death. For starters the group market cap is down almost 40%

Nana Patekar was one of the most versatile actors of our times. My first memory of his was Prahar, after that whether it was the negative role in Parinda, or the lead role in Krantiveer, the comic role in Welcome, there was nothing he could not do. Truly end of an era. Om Shanti
Picture of the day. The great FII exit in HDFC Bank, all absorbed by DIIs who now for first time own more than FIIs in recent memory. Big question: will this patience pay off?
Yesterday’s data confirms DII holding now above FIIs.
Who would have thought this was possible 3 years ago?
Eternal's weight in Nifty at 2.2% now exceeds TCS at 2%. Obviously a big factor is the free float market cap but even then it's an indicator of what has happened in our markets.
