[Shoshana Bodini @shoshana_bodini]

4 tweets (and counting) referencing Toy Story in the one class. This reflects key cultural influences of our childhood being used to make sense of something new. #bcm320

[kasandra @_ardnasak]

Fun fact: The movie takes place in the year 2019. It depicts Neo-Tokyo building a new Olympic stadium. Coincidentally, Tokyo is scheduled to host the 2020 Summer Olympics. #bcm320

[kasandra @_ardnasak]

And too think this movie is meant to take place in 2019 one year away they aren't that far off, protests and violences seems to be a current trend
#bcm320

Bonnie and Clyde robot and old man version #BCM325

[kasandra @_ardnasak]

I love how frank dress the robot in a black hoodie such a great disguise #BCM325

[Christopher Moore @CL_Moore]

Robot is ‘happy’ being a robot and doing its job, it’s a companion, not a human and it’s humanness is projected onto it by Frank and by us. #RobotandFrank #BCM325

[kasandra @_ardnasak]

Franks connection to the robot is stronger than most romance films#BCM325

[kasandra @_ardnasak]

The whole concept of robots as companions to close the void of loneliness is great, its so often we just look to them for greater services. I would totally buy my grandma one. #BCM325

[Mia Iorfino @miaiorfino18]

You can kind of already tell this: "the movie’s most prominent asset as both art and science fiction is its absence of sentimentality” - we are dealing with a robot without the presence of a conscious #BCM325

[kasandra @_ardnasak]

Fun fact for you guys #BCM325

[kasandra @_ardnasak]

i would like to die eating cheeseburger too frank #BCM325
