💬: The relationship between Wan and Nine also touches on the idea of how fans can sometimes create an idealized image of an artist. Why do you think it was important for Mr. Fanboy to explore the difference between the person an artist is, and the image that the fans might have of them?

🐱: Let me explain it from Wan's perspective. If we are in Wan's pov, he only sees one side of p'Nine. However, the viewers gets to see every sides of each character. It’s like a coach watching a soccer match. They can see the whole field, and they might hink "What didn't this person move like this?" The coach sees the whole picture, just like the series' viewers. But Wan can only see what’s in front of Wan- he sees p'Nine in an idealized way, like "he's so cute~". But once he enters the entertainment industry, he sees that everyone has many sides. People don't have just one side. It matters that p'Nine chooses to show a certain side of himself for Wan to see. Tbh, if I was Wan, I wouldn’t understand p'Nine either. But the viewers can see why Nine does the things he did. Every character has their own reasons
