Re: Tayo Na vs Tara Na
Apart from Tayo Na being a completely valid phrase, and agreeing wholeheartedly that we shouldn't dogpile on/invalidate the work of the many Filipinos who made Forgotten Island,
I also want to say comments about pronunciation, line delivery are fair!
“mas conversational ang ‘tara na’” — fair. pero yung “hindi gagamit ng ‘tayo na’ ang teenagers noong ’90s”? 😭 like???? preference mo sa wording, ginawa mong historical fact. mga pinoy talaga huhu. Tayo na otins, pahinga muna sa pagiging language police 👊🏻😓
the ones who kept on using Sineskwela why Tayo Na is correct...jusko, Tara Na is colloquial and more conversational. Tayo Na is formal and would not be used by teenagers even in the 90s. This pretentious intellectuality in the qrts and replies 😭
