Also…I’ve been quiet af about Valko’s cancellation because I’ve been watching patiently. Watching how some people genuinely don’t understand how it’s not just about Valko’s removal, regardless if it’s permanent or not. It’s about how a successful, multi million dollar company created a product that was heavily invested in and advertised just to say “oh, on second thought let’s scrap the whole thing.”

Valko wasn’t rushed. Let me repeat that for the ones who can’t understand. Valko. Was. Not. Rushed. Games are developed in cycles, with multiple teams working at once. While VAs are recording lines another team is orchestrating music while another writes out stories while another directs motion capture. It’s a process that can take upwards of a year.

You simply cannot rush the artwork, visuals, music, assets etc that is put into an LI for a debut launch. Valko wasn’t teased. He was FULLY MARKETED. He had a set release date. A standard myth. Standard cards. Secret times. Affinity rewards.

And guess who paid for his production? Every single person who spent in this game. Every. Single. One. Why? Because that’s how games work. You don’t get to dictate where your money goes within the company. Some of it is for paying motion capture artists. Some of it is to pay to commission community fanart. Some is to buy lunch for the board meetings😂

i believe i think those who in support of Valko are mostly working ppl with disposable income. that's why we're seeing 00s & 90s as majority.

while those who against Valko, are comprised with including minors in the majority (could be alot of late 00s voted this option as well)

so, interesting to see how much revenue they can make off from the younger generation of players if the majority working ppl players decide to not spend or spend less without valko.
