@stillhereofc@Meowswowmeow Itโs insane how much it affects BMI. Iโve been diagnosed with both typical AN and atypical AN. The only reason it was atypical at school was because they deemed it appropriate to use the BMI scale for children when I was 17. I wouldโve been considerably underweight for an 18 y/o.
@espcals Iโve relapsed and gained many times, and I look at my LW pics sometimes in my hidden folder and itโs a validation thing where I have evidence that I was in the extreme AN BMI range. But, I would never think to post those photos. Can imagine itโs similar.
@LostBerry12 @trainwreckxic Jeez man are you joking. Iโve been 14.7 and I looked NO WHERE near as thin as this. At OPโs weight significant muscle wastage is very inevitable so BMI doesnโt tend to vary greatly because body compositon will be similar in most individuals.
@nymfettes From someone who has been BMI 15 before, you do look around 15-16. I think at that BMI body composition matters less because youโre less likely to have muscle regardless of body type.
