@PremiershipYrs I remember watching a game when he was at Charlton were the full-back had more than a 10-yard head start and he absolutely stripped him down the outside. He could be lightning when he wasn't picking up niggling injuries.

@retrofootballnw @CAFCofficial He was a great lower-league finisher, Clive. His finishes in that final were class. I'd been watching him finish for Grimsby for a few years by that point, so I was well aware of him when Curbishley snapped him up.
